COFFEE SESSIONS

For the coffee enthusiasts that want to know coffee better without overwhelming themselves with too much information, we offer 2 hour courses on brewing and cupping. The basics of brewing at home will be explained and a hands on experience will be given for every type of brewing that exists, including how to use an espresso machine.

This is not a professional class, rather a "fun, learning how to drink coffee properly" class!
Come prepared for some caffeine intake.

Please contact us for more information. A minimum of the 6 people are needed for courses.

In addition, we offer cupping presentations for any group of people that want to understand and experience Ethiopian coffee. Mail us for information and request an appointment.

PROFESSIONALS COURSES

We offer SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe) certified courses. Please email us for more information.

CERTIFIED COFFEE

We offer certified coffee courses from the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE). The SCAE is a non-profit trade association that has established a global network of coffee lovers and industry professionals across more than 90 countries. The primary mission of SCAE is to inspire coffee excellence through innovation, research and education. SCAE organises the annual World of Coffee trade show and regular workshops, training days, field trips and networking events.

The SCAE has designed a Coffee Diploma System - an education system aimed to meet the needs of coffee professionals everywhere. It is a controlled and certified system with a curriculum written and updated by the best minds in the coffee industry. It allows the coffee professional to sit courses and certifications at locations and times of their choosing, amassing credits each time a certification is successfully passed that count towards the full Coffee Diploma. To achieve the full Coffee Diploma, 100 credits are required.

Below are the courses on offer at Galani, each of which offers credits towards the Coffee Diploma.
